Tea nerds, unite! Who enjoys tea as much as I do? What's your favorite kind? How often do you drink it? How do you prepare it? Where do you purchase yours from?

My favorite is pu-erh. The simplest way to describe it is to say that it tastes like the earth, but there is so much variety out there that that description only barely just begins to scratch the surface. I generally drink tea on a daily basis, depending on how fast I'm moving. I like to sit down and enjoy it, so if the day doesn't allow for that, then I'll usually not worry about it.

I prepare mine using a gaiwan. It's a really simple, effective way to prepare it, especially for one person. I'll eventually purchase a proper teapot, but the good ones tend to be expensive.

This is a really great website. I generally get most of my tea through them. It also has some great pages filled with information.

I like plain tea. Those are really unique.Sri Lankan tea is the best.I can guarantee that coz Sri Lankan tea is the only tea which plucked by man.Not machines. So it doesn't contain any unnecessary parts of the tea plants other than the leaves.

You really are a walking tourist board ain't ya Morgan?

Anywho, as for Tea.. well i'm English so of course I drink tea, but it's just normal to drink it so I can't say it's something I overly think about brands and the like. :P
"A deus ex machina (pronounced /ˈdeɪ.əs ɛks ˈmɑːkiːnə/ or /ˈdiː.əs ɛks ˈmækɨnə/,[1] day-əs eks mah-kee-nə) (Latin for "god out of the machine"; plural: dei ex machina) is a plot device whereby a seemingly inextricable problem is suddenly and abruptly solved with the contrived and unexpected intervention of some new event, character, ability, or object."

I would love to live in London just to have tea time everyday. They actually do a tradional English tea service at the London hotel in NYC that I plan to partake of on my honeymoon.

I drink Yogi tea religiously. I love their throat comfort for when I have to sing. Otherwise, I drink their blueberry green tea every day, all day.
I think the only way to get through life is by laughing hard and constantly, mostly at myself.

That's such an English stereotype! Although I do enjoy a bit of tea myself ;) - I don't know anyone who regularly does the afternoon tea myself :D

My favorite has to be English Breakfast - its got more of a kick to it than Earl Grey.

Ooh. If you like kick, you might just enjoy pu-erh. It's sort of a contradiction. It can seem pretty smooth, but man will it wake you up.

Haha. I can guarentee that this is not the case. ;)

I'm pretty sure most tea is hand picked - the countries that farm it don't have the capitol to invest in high tech picking machinery unfortunately :(

Earl Grey and Jasmine....mmmmmmmm mmm! I drink EG British style, cream and sugar, but I drink Jasmine straight. I don't do anything special to prepare it-I just use tea bags. lol Uncultured me...

Only posh old ladies go for cream, and I don't know any of those

I use half and half, when I have it. If not then I use milk. But half and half tastes better. I guess I'm half posh? I mean I am half English and half American so I guess it makes sense.

XD My grandad calls me posh for drinking Earl Grey in the first place. My friends call me Trekkie...lol

Haha. Earl Grey is again the elderly ladies' drink of choice ;-)

I recently tried Vanilla tea and I love it. Has anyone tried it? I think it tastes best with a bit of sugar and without milk

Ooooh it's got to be Twinnings Everyday or Twinnings English Breakfast. I used to drink PG Tips or Typhoo but ever since I was introduced to Twinnings Everyday and Twinnings English Breakfast, I suffer from 'tea snobbery' and cannot drink any other tea.

:o The milk is the best bit! Of course you can't have too much, you want to keep it relatively strong ;)

Wow...I didn't know there were so many different types, flavors, and ways to drink tea. I mainly drink coffee, but when I do drink tea, I either put honey or lemon in mines.

I love making chai lattes. There are just so many different types of chai out there. I like mine with a bit of spiciness to it. I have about 8 different types of chai at home! (masala chai, rooibos chai, chocolate chai, celestial seasonings mountain chai...) :S

I also love London Fogs, my dad got me hooked on these. Steam milk with a shot of vanilla syrup, then steep an Earl Grey tea bag in it. Lovely!
