So I was looking to make damn sure that I didn't miss season 5 like I did with season 4, and I came across this:

Sky Living ‘Have NOT Acquired The Rights For The Final Season Of Chuck’.
UPDATE: A further email from Sky explained a bit more saying “Unfortunately, we have not acquired the rights for the final season of Chuck. Whilst we appreciate this is frustrating to loyal viewers there are some great new series coming to Sky Living this autumn and unfortunately we have limited space in the schedule. On balance we decided that whilst Chuck has been a great asset to the channel, we need to focus our resources elsewhere.”
It’s not very clear if there should be a yet on the end of that, and they do say ‘this is still under review’ but as of right now (Sept 2011), Chuck’s final season does not have a home on UK TV…
As it is ‘still under review’, i’m sure the nice folk at Sky Living would love to hear from you if you feel you’d like to see Chuck Season 5 in the UK.

Airing September in the US. 13 episodes ordered, with option to pick up another 9 if it all goes well (or NBC have nothing else to fill the schedule with!) Could be we get it in Oct/Nov, but it could also be 2012.

WHAAAAAT. Does anybody know if/when (preferably "when") Chuck season 5 will be out here? Pleeease.

I have been checking non stop to try and find any infomation about this. I keep checking in with a website http://www.geektown.co.uk/ who are quite up to date with the uk air dates of up coming shows, which is where I saw the news from Sky Living as well.

Also my Sky Never Miss just says that Chuck Series 5 is coming in 2012 but doesn't say when or what channel. So there doesn't seem to be any real information anywhere at the moment. Unless iTunes will do like last year and upload straight after the US has aired?

get it off itunes, all of season 4 was available the day after it aired in US. similar to how castle is now.

Yeah I know but my pc is really shite and it never plays videos well, let alone tv show episodes... I'll just hope that it's aired on tv buying them off iTunes will be a last resort.

I did ... it broke yesterday. I'm currently suffering from iPod withdrawal symptoms. Although hopefully I'll get a new one for free which will be great cos mine had dust and crap under the screen. So yeah when I get my iPod back I could watch Chuck on it. But it's a classic so the screen is small... waaaa.

I read on the Sky forums the other day that it hadn't been picked up in the UK.

@ Jessie - You should consider picking up an Apple TV, then you can view all your iTunes purchases on your TV. You can get the first generation (the silver one) on Ebay for about £100 now. IMO it is better than the black one, as you don't need to leave your PC on to watch the shows, as they download directly on the Apple TV's hard drive (and it automatically downloads the latest episode, so you don't have to remember to get iTunes to download it ). Also you can switch it between the UK and US store, so if the UK store doesn't sell Chuck Season 5, you can just download it from the US store.

But thanks for the tip I shall go and do some research... I should think that season 5 will still be out on DVD here though... in HMV. I'd hope

Does anyone know if uk itunes ARE going to make season 5 available like they did last year with season 4? I hoped they would, but so far there doesn't seem to be any sign of Chuck vs the Zoom
