Have you fallen behind on your nerd news? Don’t worry; we’re here to help! Here are a few stories to bring up at the water cooler this week:

Arnold Schwarzenegger has announced he will soon start filming a fifth Terminator movie. It is not known who will write or direct the movie, but names like Justin Lin (Fast and Furious) and Kathryn Bigelow (Zero Dark Thirty) have been tossed around. With production set to start in January, the film should be out in theatres for summer 2015.

Reports have come out that Disney will soon be moving ahead with a Star Wars-themed park in Orlando. Rumors of the park have been swirling for years and reached a fever pitch after Disney’s acquisition of Lucasfilm last October. Features would include things like a Mos Eisley cantina. With the park would also come a renovation of the Star Tours ride.

Sorry, Hiddlestoners. Joss Whedon has confirmed Loki will not be in Avengers 2. In a podcast with Empire Magazine, Whedon also discussed the franchise’s newcomers Quicksilver and The Scarlet Witch and how they will fit in with the current lineup. You can listen to the whole podcast here.

Apple has announced their newest iPhone operating system, iOS7. At their Worldwide Developers Conference last week, they said the change will be the biggest to the platform since the introduction of the iPhone. It is a complete overhaul of the system, with redesigns coming to everything from the colors of the phone to app makeovers to camera upgrades. Developers can get the update now and it will be released to the public in the fall.

Man of Steel has become the number one June opening of all time. Making $125.1 million over the weekend, it beat previous record-holder Toy Story 3, which debuted with $110.3 in 2010.
